AD Delivers Full Creative & Event Registration for Global Halal Summit 2025
Full creative direction, event branding, and the delegate registration system, plus event management support, for JAKIM’s flagship international summit: 92 certification bodies, 47 countries, one agency.
The Biggest Brief We’ve Ever Taken
The Global Halal Summit (GHaS) 2025 was JAKIM’s flagship international event. Theme: "Integrity, Sustainability, and Resilience." Running from 16 to 26 September 2025 across venues in Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Ninety-two halal certification bodies. Delegates from 47 countries. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in attendance.
JAKIM didn’t want five vendors stitching things together. They wanted one agency to own the creative and the delegate registration, and to support the event on the ground. AD got the call.
What AD Delivered
Creative direction came first. We developed the summit’s complete visual identity, the look and feel that would carry across every touchpoint from pre-event communications to on-site signage to post-event documentation. This wasn’t a logo slapped on a template. It was a cohesive design system built for an event of international calibre.
Event branding covered stage design for multiple sessions and halls, delegate badges and lanyards, directional signage and wayfinding, programme booklets, presentation templates for speakers, and all print and digital collateral. When delegates from 47 countries walked into any GHaS venue, the brand experience was consistent.
Delegate registration was its own challenge. We ran sign-ups, credential checks, and confirmation workflows for guests from 47 countries. On the event-management side, we supported the organising team on arrivals, seating protocols, and VIP handling for international guests, which requires military-grade logistics. Especially when government ministers are in the building.
One Agency, One Standard
The reason this worked is the same reason we keep saying it: one brief, one team, one visual language. There was no design conflict between the website and the stage backdrop. No inconsistency between the invitation email and the on-site signage. No communication breakdown between the creative team and the registration team, because they’re the same team.
GHaS 2025 was the largest event AD has worked on to date. It set a new constellation in our portfolio and proved that our model scales, from intimate MOU signings to summits attended by a Deputy Prime Minister.
